How to Apply?

Online Registration

Visit navodaya.gov.in when the notification is released (usually in Oct-Nov) and fill the application form.

Admit Card & Exam

Download the admit card and appear for the offline JNVST exam at the allotted center in Azamgarh district.

Document Verification

Selected candidates must produce residence, age, and caste certificates for final verification.

Who is eligible to apply?

Students studying in Class V in a Govt. or Govt. recognized school in Azamgarh district. They must also be bona fide residents of the district.

What is the fee structure?

Education, boarding, and lodging are completely free. A nominal fee (VVN) is applicable only for boys of General/OBC categories from Class IX to XII.

Is there any reservation?

Yes, 75% of seats are reserved for students from rural areas. There is also reservation for SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang candidates as per Govt. norms.

What is the exam pattern?

The JNVST for Class VI is a 2-hour objective type test consisting of three sections: Mental Ability, Arithmetic, and Language.
